its more expensive that a standard turbo, but its smaller, lighter and requires no oil or coolant lines, it also can be mounted in varying positions. Seems an ideal choice for motorcycles.it also controls boost through the use of variable vane turbine nozzles, this has the benefit of decreasing the spool-up time and lowering back pressure. Given the high compression of the LC8 an intercooler would seem almost mandatory if boosting more than ~5-6 psi, don't know as no one has turboed one yet
there seems to be enough room under the tank that a small air to water cooler could be fabricated, then just a small heat exchanger up front. I first was thinking it could be installed under the seat, kind of at the front end of where the stock muffler is, but a better place ( if it is possible ) would be to re-mount the battery and install it where the battery now lives.
Its fun to ponder such things, I wish I had more spare time and $$ to devote to projects like this
