Weeksy's right. Unless you know what you're doing the end result will be pretty random. Save your pennies and buy some end cans instead.

The massive benefit is you will remove the cats which means you can get the bike running with a power commander as rich as it needs to be to run well, you may need to make a few small mods inside to aid gas flow but once done you will have a silencer with no cat. TBH I don't think you need to cut it open to remove the cat as it's visible from the end.
All the SD running problems and touchy throttle are because it is running lean to accomodate the cat. Remove the cat and get it set up for performance and it will transform the bike

I'd say fit a power commander but the akra map would probably work quite well as it does away with the 02 sensors and richens the fuelling up.
