firstoff, i don't have any xp tuning suspensions in general. i'm running the stock settings on my 08 SD and am noticing it's tough to keep my line on twisty bits if there are but minor bumps in the tarmac...roads w/ bigger cracks/lines/tree roots/dips fogettaboutit....feel like i have to go granny-mode. The bike seems to get jostled a bit more than I'd like and while the handling is better when I relax on the bars, it's still not optimal. In my mind, shouldn't a properly tuned suspension soak up bumps w/o the road upsetting the chassis/course of the bike?
I've ridden similar twisties on my much-heavier/slower/softer 1150gs w/ ohlins w/o this happening.
How are people setting up their suspension to these kinds of roads? I'm 175lb btw...
