Right im gone have a rant as the previous cock that owned my SD bike had done a right job with the front fork setup. Initially I could take some corners really good than other I would shit my pance, than shitting my pance became the norm and I thought that was just me and the beast.
Changed the tyres and I was happy with that as it did get a bit better after 1 and 1/2 years owning the bike.
Than today I decided to sort out the santchy throttle, took all the slack out of both cables, although the return cable is there to take out the slack or any kinks on the openning cable, after I did that I decided to have a look at the suspension setup. Started with the front, oh boy it must have either been a track sabotage or the knob new nothing about clicks and counting, the left to right were out by a least 7 clicks and 5 turns, went around did front and back and got dressed up for a ride.
The throttle is spot on, no more crazy horse stuff, but foremost the handling; something clicked and me and the beast were as one. Weird but it reminded me of these films where a kid is the only one that can tame furria to jump on. So riped her up a bit and was testing hard breaking, it felt a little soft but after a couple of runs I got used to it, but the stearing has become a bit light and the front has the shakes at times under hard acceleration that I would not felt before.
So the big question arises, do I just accept the standar settings and fit a stearing dumper, or can I tweak a bit further with settings and get away with it?
I'm only a road rider and 75kg.
