Been flat out getting things in place for next season.

Just testing the water here. Would any of you guys be interested in t shirts?

I've been working with my sponsors and we're almost there on gettin some run off. The main thing i'm working on is getting good quality t shirts that fit well and sit well when worn. I'm meeting a place tomorrow who sound like they have just the thing. Everything i've seen so far is really cheap and wont look good at all.

The plan is to sell these on my website . Once i post them out i'll make about £2 per shirt. It's not about the money. It's about having a bit of fun and getting the website and sponsors names out there. I am planning on doing competitons where guys send in pics in crazy locations with the shirt on. Try and get some pics in from all over the world, different tracks, race meets, desert, up mountains etc

If these were about £20 and i can get them good quality how many guys would be interested? They may be under £15 but still debating it all out just now so cant nail a final price as of yet.

Originally there were just for myself and one or two mates who are helping me out next year. But everyone is keen to grab the extra advertising oppertunity hence the post. They're not to everyones taste but i like it. Still a few changes to do before final design

Image
Definitely put me in for maybe 2..
how will they fit for us Amureecans..??
My size is XL
Il take one. M size.
Nice one dude. I'll post up in a few weeks when things are sorted out better

No probs Mike. Should be ok.

S M L XL XXL
35-37" Chest 38-40" Chest 41-43" Chest 44-46" Chest 47-49" Chest
89-94cm Chest 96.5-101.5cmChest 104-109cm Chest 112-117cm Chest 119.5-124.5cm Chest

Still alot to sort out but the size guide of the shirts i'm looking at is above.
I'll have one too
I would take two,, but how about a "longsleeve"version"
ill buy two if you can do one in white and one in black
Why not?
You putting your #11 on them too Gordon.???
No team colors like the bike..?? If they were
as colorful as the bike they would be more
noticeable...Stand out more..They must like
that Gordon Right chap that's takin over
Thundersport in 2013..lol
I'm supportive of you but my advice is don't do it. They look like shit but apart from that you'll end up spending more
time running around trying to get an XXXL posted to some dick on the other side of the world than making a profit . It'll be a major distraction for little
gain - probably loss. If you want to do something simple sell a sticker for a bike that reads something like "Official Gordon Wright Sponsor"
and sell them for GBP10. I'll buy one simply to support you but many probably won't put their money where their mouth is. - Bling, well that's different.

That's an interesting idea about the photos - I've got about 20 of myself taken in interesting parts of the world holding the take-away cup of a well
known coffee chain. The places are interesting but the pay-back was minute. The tragedy is I don't even get chicks saying "Oh its you. You're the guy
in that ... ad"

If I were you I'd just try to get personal recognition - maybe a campaign where you do the racing and use Agent Orange's photo

Ok I'm not going to hold you back. Why not send one to Felix B and see if he'll wear it as he jumps out of space balloon.

Don't know who Agent Orange is ? Well neither do I (he's a member) but this is what he looks like ...

I'll buy one. I like the look but even if I didn't I'd still buy one
Jmann i've not got a clue what your going on about man.
Is this guy your boyfriend or something.

So about 10 guys would go for one. That'll prob do. For me, family and mates that'll make a run of about 30.
I'll let you all know if it comes to anything or ends up being too expensive. Like i said, they might not be the coolest most cutting edge design, but a part of all the deals made was to get shirts done with their logo on. Does the job.

I'm not on here all that much just now but i'll keep my website updated with goings on.
Dunno if anyone follows the series but Rece Rothwell on his 675 Triumph won both championships last weekend taking the A and over all Extreme Championships. Huge acheivement and he'll be back next year to defend his number 1 plate along with a good load of new guys moving over from other classes. Pumped for this already. It's going to be tight up at the sharp end. Lap records will be falling thats for sure.
I'm joining forces with Rothwell Racing for next year although we're keeping our seperate team identities. It's going to be mega!
Cheers.
Put me down for a small
Gordon please put me down for a medium.
Cheers
I'm worried that a move into textiles signals a less race focused Flash.

No, i need it for a duster
If you're looking for a shirt still, I like Jerzees heavyweight cotton/poly blend. It's one of those shirts that just feels right.

I'd be interested in an XL.

Always late to the party but I will have a couple in large too, make that 3 and I will give Twisted Jester a shirt as a christmas present just to remind him that life goes on whilst he is off pedalling his gimp mobile
Yo Viking...put me down for a XXL. I will send you some pics of it from the Pacific North Wet, Oregon and other near by states. Glad your still on the SD.
This isn't looking too good.

To get the good quality t shirts and then screen printed to give a Powerwear standard of finish its going to cost over £1100 due to the numbers. Bitchez be crazy. I'm looking at about 60 shirts to start with. That's to cover you guys, mates and sponsors.

Got them looking for a cheaper option on shirts and print but I don't want to put out crap Gogo style wash once and bin type shirts. So if they're not up to scratch it'll be a no go. There may be another option where I buy say 100 prints then just supply them with the shirts when required. I've left it with a few companies so the balls in their court to get a deal worked.

I'll post up an let you know how it goes.

All is cool again.

It's going ahead. Found a cracking little company to work with. Basic design is done. Few small changes to the original but basically the same.

The way it going to work is........
I'll put a t shirt section on the website that will link to their site which has a special little Wright Racing section. Everyone and anyone can buy the shirt from there. That works better coz then I don't have to put out big money and don't have the hassle of posting them all out. The clothing Co will do it all. And because I've paid a deposit and guaranteed a certain number of shirts as a start they will be priced right and discounted down. The best bit is the company will have a range of things they can logo. So you can have beanies, hoodies, polo shirts, t shirts, the whole shooting match.

Cool. Really chuffed with how this has worked out. All I need is for everyone to stand by their word and the guys who said they wanted one to go ahead and buy one or I'm up shit creek.

I'll post up when it's all live.

Good day today. Dymag finally go the rear wheel machined sprockets so it fits the bike. Interesting deal offered from a mate. The shirt deal done. Wife bought me a rear wet tyre for my birthday tomorrow. All I need is for her to put out and this could be one of the best days I've had since my 2nd place at cadwell!
Yes, Viking gets laid, and we get attire with tyre spelt, or is that spelled, correctly.
A tyre, attire and stripped of attire for a spell.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

That's going to get some discussion going when all the American guys are walking about with JKTyres on the sleeve
TYRE,,,,TYRE,,,never spelled it any different,,,,,,,,don't worry bout this Merican,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I ain't,,, just want me shirt

Put me down for one in medium if still possible.
Your fine mate.

Just getting the web links set up and i'll then post up the link to the online shop in a day or so. There are t shirts, hoodies and a beanie hat.

T shirts and clothing avaliable here and ready for worldwide dispatch.

You can get it from the link on the main site

Or go direct here......

Thank you to everyone who expressed interest in making this happen. It was just a simple idea untill all you guys showed your support. Massive thanks guys. Really appreciate it. Lets get some shirts spread over the globe and get some backing for this shonky old shopping tractor out there fighting against the big boys
Just ordered up two brudda,,,,,,will wear it like religon
Thanks mate!

I've not even had a chance to order my own yet!!

Its took a lot of time and effort to get it all looking professional and going through a legit company rather than some dude on the net taking your money and running about trying to get shirts printed.
Thanks Gordon..!!
Ordered a T and a hoodie...
Done deal...
I too will be wearing mine proudly...
Ordered me a T & Beenie.

Will be using the Beenie at work (on an Aircraft pan at stupid O'clock in the morning in the Scottish Highlands during winter, it gets frikken cold, so it better be warm!) and will take the T with me next (in the summer) year to Afgan to give you a photo from afar!
I appear to be having an issue.

Went direct to site, select medium in the Tee shirt drop down, then "add to cart" , which takes me off to paypal, and get the following from paypal.

"Sorry — your last action could not be completed".

Any ideas?

All working there for me. Select Uk postage. Select size. Add to cart and its ready to go.

Might have just been a glitch.

Cheers
Just bought mine
And me!
Shaaaweet!!!

All sorted, ordered up the medium T. Will order up the hoodie once the T arrives.

Nice one
T Shirt on the way
ordered a t-shirt
This seem's to be going rather well I would say,,,so what's next,,a replica helmet and leather's
And I don't make a penny of them either! The clothing company deals with everything. I was due to make a couple of pounds per shirt but we knocked that off the price so it made them cheaper for all you guys. Even if we sell 50 shirts I'd only have got £100. Hardly covers a weekends worth of fuel! Better having cheaper prices so we get more out there. Hopefully someone somewhere will see one and click on the site and get involved. It's all good fun.

Looking forward to seeing pics of you guys in them from all over the world. Such a small time effort with such a big return. It's brilliant! I still don't have any myself yet!
T-shirt ordered
Beanie ordered
t-shirt arrived, nice one.

will order up hoodie now that i know the medium is the right size.

good quality T btw
Arrived today...looking good and great quality
Got mine too................

Nice dawg,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,woof,,,,,,,,
hoodie ordered up !!
Glad everyone likes them.

I've still not seen any in the flesh yet. Think my order is missing in the post.

We might have to tweak the design slightly to add a new sponsor on. But if it makes the price go up I'll just leave it out and try and give that company its publicity in another way.

Again. Any problems or questions throw me an email l through the website and ill get on it.
Recieved mine today It looks great! Fit and finish is perfect! Very happy with it
Just put in an order for one. Hopefully got overseas posting things right
There has been a couple of orders from Finland. Maybe members on here too?

We've had to go ahead and change the design slightly. So all orders from now on will arrive with new tweaked design.

We added Coyotemoto.com to the back and aligned the other sponsors logos and moved Jim Allans to a sleeve. Small changes but keeps everyone happy.

Keep an eye on the website. The bodywork is back from paint in its new 2013 livery. It's a bit special. Nothing like last year but still has some very funky touches. It will be a good few weeks before LR Designs finalise all the decals and we got locations sorted. I'll post up a thread when it's totally finished. It needs so good pics in the sun to do it justice and sun in Scotland at this time of year is wishful thinking!

Image
shirt and beenie on it´s way to mexico....
Cool

Let me know what you think of the new design when it arrives.

If anyone can send me pics of them in the kit ill fire it up in the supporters section of the website. Looking for interesting or different locations from over the world and various scenes and events etc.

If anyone can get a pic next to the new superduke at a show that'd be killer
Still patiently waiting on mine...
Shouldn't be too long...

tyre tyre

I'm sure Redline Clothing is just a one man band doing it all as a second job.
He's been on holiday but is back now and rattling through the orders.

See. I told you all. There was going to be no cheap crap. That's why it took so long to get it sorted out. I picked out the shirts for weight and fit. Was a bit nervous of the hoodies but I'm well impressed. His prints are brilliant and will wear well.
Been a while since i checked on this.

Is everyone happy enough with the kit they got?

If anyone has got any pics snapped wearing some kit can you send it to me at gordon at wrightracing11.com and i'll put it on the support section of the website. Be good to see the kit in all different areas of the globe. The clothing co mentioned they have had orders from all over the place, Norway, Mexico, USA, Germany.

Really appreciate all the support from you guys. Hanging onto this season by a shoestring but i'll be racing right up untill i'm on my last £1.

No mate. I'm sure I put a post up about it somewhere, if you have a scroll back through the thread it might be here.

The idea is to get the website name out there and get more views which may potentially lead to more sponsorship or support as the season unfolds and there's more to write about than me attacking the bike with a grinder and trying to keep my head motivated by over analysing results. It's also a major factor in gaining the sponsorship I got for this year as the companies have their logo in more places than just a sticker on the side of the bike.

I'd rather have everyone getting the kit cheap than adding a few quid and putting the guys off buying it.
I always feel a bit weird taking donations off the working man as it's more companies that I'm trying to get involved. There is a donate button on the website on the right corner that folk can make contributions with through PayPal. Had a few small donations from anonymous supporters so far which requires really helps.
Cheers Gordon, Just too lazy to trawl the old posts I'll get one ordered shortly. Once I get my Job swap sorted, wedding out the way and things are more stable I'll bung some dosh your way.

If its any help to you i'll be selling Honda, Kawasaki, the odd Yamaha and lots of used bikes from next Wednesday so if you need any inside info or any gear then let me know. I might be able to help with a deal here or there. Least I can do for now.
T-shirt, Hoody and beanie, that´s my SD´s riding gear when in town around here , LOL, Saludos from sunny Mexico

Rob did ask me if when ordering he would have any problem with customs receiving his stuff, I told him no prob, there is the proof, I hope he did order something and that it might be on it´s way to Cabo San Lucas.....that´s like 2000 miles from where I´m located, LOL, SD`s are very VERY rare over here
I'll keep you in mind then Gordon, probably get the odd ex demo. Not sure yet..

Not sure my new bosses will be too happy about me wearing your team t shirt in a Honda dealer I'll wear it with pride elsewhere though
