Can any of you guys recommend a good quality jacket and trousers. The ones I'm almost certain to get are the BMW Rallye 2 but the KTM looks good as well but there is £350 difference in price and I'm of the " ya get what ya pay for" so can the KTM be upto the same quality at £400 as apossed to £750 for the BMW kit.

#2The BMW Streetguard jacket/trousers is good--at a price---and probably better for road use than their Rallye gear(unless you need the "offroad" look Mr Ewan....). It`s made from XCR Goretex so the outer layer doesn`t soak up water like most textile gear. I use Dainese "Neck" jacket and matching trousers--also XCR Goretex--and found it excellent--outer pockets are actually waterproof. Bit cheaper than BMW stuff as well.

#3have a look at the aerostitch suits with the exchange rate the way it is. I just got a one piece its a little tight should of got a size bigger then they recommended. Its incredibly well made do. Generally rated just as highly as the bmw suits except its a third of the price. Also rukka have a goretex leather suit on the market now not sure of the price do.
