Ducati Pete
Anybody found them anywhere, cant see them in the PP catalogue.
I am also after the Carbon Ignition Switch surround, no reason, just want one! And they are all sold out until end of June from what I can see.
Interesting how all the reviews love the bike but slate the price, and yet they are all sold out!
New to the forum, have said Hello in that section, coming from 50,000 miles on a Hayabusa, I love the 1290 finally got the mid range shove I have always wanted! I did have a 990Sd a gew years back, then a 950Sm due to funds getting tight, now this and loving it!
If they do make a slim SM version using this lump, that would be perfect for me out here in the countryside. Loving the third gear wheelies though!
Couple of things after 3000 miles that I do think could be better, i think now for this price it should have a colour dash ala Panigale, the electronics as many have said could use a "naughty but not lethal setting" somewhere between fully on or off, and as many have said too the ability to switch on the move but its a minor thing and if thats all I can think of then its a pretty bloody ace bike! I do tend to keep my bikes so mileage isnt a concern for me and she is lapping up the 100 mile commute so far averaged 56mph, not bad for all b roads and 48.3mpg! Over 2700ish miles since run in! bloody amazing.
