Got some duc porn from evil bay, stumbled on this looking for injectors.
I am amazed by the development Ducati put in to this, well made and according to them the oval throttle bodies matched up with the oval inlet port shape was good for a fair increase of HP and torque.
This lot is supposed to be for a 848-1098 model. From the markings on the butterflies they aare the equivalent of 56mm and the injectors are the above the inlet trumpets conical spray pattern with 12 holes pintel model. The injectors supposedly (again) should be 550cc and good up to 170hp.

All in all nicely made and I'll have a go at mounting the injectors on the RC8 stacks in the near future.

They may be expensive, but they have some detail orientated fabrication.
I cant wait to see the Oval valves to match, now that really will be something
Along with the oval pistons and rings. Better call Honda....

Only got it for the injectors, the whole lot was cheaper than buying the injectors alone.
Only going to try to fit the injectors, will have a measure tomorrow to see if there is enough space above the RC8 trumpets to fit them.
Tempting to have a look at the throttle bodies but to make that work properly the inlet ports should be shaped oval too. I guess that would involve cutting them and welding oval bits on.
Hmmm... rather not unless someone has a spare pair of heads.
Honda only made oval pistons with 8 round not oval valves per oval piston. And two connecting rods per oval piston.
Enjoy the Duc method that increases injector effective size (oval) without having to be as big when made round.
