Can't blame ya one bit, been there m'self. Truly had I known the Duke was going to be such a potentially high maintenance beast, I woulda thought a little more, but in the end would have probly bitten anyway. Right now mine runs well when I don't have the gas tank up, and resale sucks major rocks right now, and I can't think of another bike I'd replace it with, so the Duchess sits on her KTM rug in the basement, warm and cozy, ready ta ride. Have a beer or six, Topendz, and think on it before you pull the plug, we'd miss you here.

Great, I think you should keep her, what can we do to talk you into keeping her? Maybe some counseling? A vacation? Some sexy bit for the tail eliminator?

I hate to see a nice couple part ways...

It's a shame some of us have had so much trouble with SD's.
I'm just about to click over 20000kms without even a hint of trouble.

I guy used the word "quirky" to describe SD's. He might well be right.

But you know. when I think back to the z1 large I had. The SD is just such a superior machine, It would be difficult to go back to a bike like that for the sake of reliability.

Anyway. Good luck to you topendz on what ever you decide
