Thinking of coming back....

Used to have a 05, and looking at the member list of this forum I seem to have been the first member [after Someone]........ Anyway after needing a KTM holiday after all the issues with the Superdukes replacement [690 SMC] I am thinking of purchasing another. I have seen there are some 08's about for good money including Akro's.

Just have to talk myself into getting rid of my 08 Fireblade

Have a good long ride on a Griso, I did last year as I was thinking about one as another ride.
Got back on my SD afterwards and immediately dismissed the idea!!!

OK I'm back........ Purchased a 08 model [59 reg]. Comes with Akro's, touring screen, and tank bag......... In the fast color obviously -]

I wanted to keep the rear 'ducks bill tail' so went for the R&G, and with a bit of mucking about I managed to get the original indicators to fit..... You'll also notice I had some inserts made for the Akra silencers....... They are still loud... I would say they reduce the noise by 5 - 10 %.

Personally I think the seat cowls, carbon or otherwise look pretty minging on the SD. They spoil the lines of the rear end. Plus if you do ever need to take a pillion they're an extra fag to remove. Plus if you crash its an extra bit to smash up. Plus I think they're shit.
