This would be a cool naked bike guess its far from the finished product though, hope they make it a bit bigger than the tiny superbike...

With the roads getting ever more congested and the old bill going to ever increasing lengths to destroy biking as we know it. I have come to re evaluate my biking priorities.

If we agree that you have, or could buy an 05 Superduke for 4 grand sterling.

I would love a base model, used 1098 but for about 8 grand, would it be twice as much fun as the Suoerduke?

Would an RC8R, RSV4 or this Tuono V4 be four times the fun?

If my lottery numbers had come up tonight (they didnt ) And I bought a Desmosedici (which I probably would) would it be ten times the fun?

Aaah but what about trackdays. Well, I dont know about you, but I am happiest riding bikes below about 8 grand. Any more than that and I am too concerned about trashing them.

So anyone who buys one I hope they enjoy it.

I would spend the money on a cheap SD and a grands worth of track bling.

A dozen UK trackdays or 3 Euro ones.

Maybe a few weekends at Moto GP races.

A cheap flight to Thailand and a dozen Thai hookers.

I would chuck the remaining 7.5 grand in the bank.

Who do you think would have the better time?
How could you argue with logic like that

If you need a lift to the airport after you sell your blade let me know, is it Gatwick or Heathrow for Thailand
Well, I agree with Luke on this one too, so maybe he ain't so stoopid. I recently tried a Streetfighter and decided against buying it after asking myself, "is this really going to be shed-loads more fun than the SD?" I decided it wasn't so no sale.
Just a general observation, but new bikes are getting pretty farkin' expensive again. They seem to have gone up a lot recently. You won't get much change out of £10k for anything other than a bog standard Universal Jap Motorcycle now...
... so I'm stuck with the SD
I personally love the gravel deflector cleverly disguised as an oil cooler right behind the front wheel. No problems there.

Just sayin...
