ile try tomorrow, bought the rizoma grips came with all the diff adjusters,
i do believe because it was an ex battle bike they removed the return cable, the cable grip that was in was filed cut trimmed etc ?
so i suppose my only option is to buy new throttle cables.
but theres deffinatley only 1 cable in there.
thanx
l8 reply, cant afford the 2 new throttle cables as yet so ime left with the only option of what i had, the pics are of the throttle grip i removed,
as i said b4 there is only 1 cable there so the only option is to refit this and buy a new set of cheap slip over grips for now .

Fook me, what a mess!

Anyone on here put a G2 on their bike and got a spare throttle tube they can lend scan until he gets a new one?
even if i got a new throttle tube, wouldnt that still need 2 cables ??
i only have 1 and this worked b4 so ime only left with refitting this 1,

please forgive me for my ignorance my last bike was a scooter.

ime just thinking new rubber oversleaves ?????
As long as the bike is safe to ride then I guess there's no problem. If you can replace with twin cables at some point then if I were you I would do that.

Single cables can run the risk of jamming open (unlikely but a possibility) hence the manufacturers spend the extra cash on a twin cable set up.
You should realy fix that corectly new throtle tube and both cabels. Big twins and singles have the ability to suck the flies open at high RPM... all may seem well for now but it only takes once for you to try and chop the throtle in the upper revs only to not have it shut off and find yourself entering a corner with the throtle stuck open It will be ugly
ok thanx for the replys guys, ile look at getting new cables as soon as,
