ok done all the modds , akros , hooligan box , retune etc etc , dealer in wales told me while i was on a visit to said wet place, that the throttle cam mod was well worth doing and smoothes out any final throttle lurching/glitches that may be still there after me going this far, basically does it ? or is he earning his post as a salesman

#2What it does is slows the initial opening of the throttle. Past that, it's the same ratio. If you are ham-fisted, it could help you out....

#4You shouldn't need a throttle cam if you've done all those mods, should be running smooth if it was tuned right.
The G2 throttle cam just increases the throttle opening making the power come on less instantly than the standard cam. The G2 does however come with three cams so you can easily change cams without taking the whole throttle body apart.
I have one, it doesn't make a lot of difference.

#5I used the RC8 throttle which was supposed to do the same thing as the G2 for far les cost. IMHO it neutered the bike and off to the parts collection it went. Running stock throttle and very happily so

#9Tried a G2 on my KTM 300 when I first got it...didn't like what it did. I think you just learn better throttle control in time...the G2 might help some people but I agree wiht the comment that it neutered the bike for me.

#10I made my own throttle ramp... its very agressive... its an oval not a circle... so now it goes from 1/2 throttle to full completely full, bypassing 3/4 throttle... makes front wheel lifting very easy... ilike riding like a twisted devil so its good for me.
