Time for windscreen again...

Well.... I survived last year in Norway and totally fell for touring , so this year we will make an even longer trip... Approx 5000-5500 km's in 12-14 days.

First ferry Trelleborg(Sweden)-Travemunde(Germany) , then load the bikes on the train in Hamburg to Munich. After that , the adventure starts !

I found a file on some site , with 202 alppasses , so i tried to hit so many i could. I think we're passing abt 60 passes on our trip. The highest ones are up to 3000 meters. Twisty roads where you meet your backwheel in every turn...

How about the Stelviopass in north Italy ?...

I toured the Dolomites (in northern Italy) last year. It was one of the best rides of my life!
But that ride was only in Austria & Italy. I need to go back and see more! And drink more espressos and more grappa and more beer and more wine......

Now that sounds like a great trip... hope you have a blast

I'd love to get out to the roads in Austria & Italy, looks amazing. I've done plenty in France and Spain, I need to head that direction next time

Any chance you can post up some details on that luggage in the 'How To' Be interested to know what you used - the lot, rack, panniers etc.

Hopefully getting down to Valencia next year for a couple of weeks so need some ideas.

If you like twisty roads, the Alps are all good... You should come in italy on the east side and ride towards west, starting at least from the grossglockner pass and continuing to cross the boundaries between italy, switzerland and austria... going toward stelvio pass, bernina pass julier pass furka pass albula pass maloja pass or St. Bernanrdino pass, Spluga pass.... they are really a lot!!! 100% complete fun & silky roads..
If you happen to stay on the italian side of the alps I can tella that the road named "Panoramica Zegna" is awesome and from ther you could ride toward france and discover the roads that thera are nearby the verdon, and then take the direction to home...
