Time to say fairwell

So after almost 10 years of ownership, I will be parting ways with my SD next weekend.

There are a few reasons for selling up, main one being a newborn coming along and me having no restraint to pinning it when in the twisties (I live in the start of the Scottish Highlands, so...). That and the fact that I've not really been using it much over the last few years and it deserves to be used (and abused).

I have loved owning the beast and have many fond memories, but am happy to move on.

There will be a few things going up for sale, off the top of my head a Rottweiler box, LSL steering damper, Motohooligan tank brackets and rearset adjusters among other stuff that I've acquired over the years.

This is truly one of the most involving forums that I have come across with some brilliant members and I will stop by every now and then.

As they say "Thanks for the memories and toodle pip!"

Sad to hear it, but glad you're doing it by choice and have a family to look after.

Are you done with riding as a whole or will you pick up something else?

Not done with riding just yet. Picked up a cheap '78 CB750F2 to do up, don't think I'll ever be able to not have something in the garage for those once in a blue moon chances I'll get.

Take it easy, stay in touch and who knows, you may go orange again one day...

Stick around though - I too don't visit here as much as I used to but always nice to pop in every so often. (For me it was not as good without pictures and Photobucket) I lost hundreds of illustrated posts and it sort of broke my soul.

There's an expression used in the theatre that goes along the lines of "Break a ...". In this forum it is inappropriate so I'll just say "toodle pip" as well
