Too much power?

That is a picture of the silencing coins inside my Leos. The other one was disintegrated and the other was just about to. If it's not the power it might be just poor material...

Anyway now the bike sounds a lot better but I have no business going to the local race track It's way too loud.

I didn't put those in either, looked to restrictive. They must really quiet down the pipes.

They really do quiet them down. I got 95,5 dB last time I was on the track.
As 96 dB is the limit, I couldn't pass in with the stock exhaust...

Those are carbon encrusted stainless steel disks that come with the Leos. I punched 4 extra holes in mine for a total of 9 10mm diameter holes. Knocked a couple dB off the noise which iss nice. Was worried about power as well but as Reb said you pick up power in the mid due to extra back pressure.

I'd recommend them. Win Win really.

You can always make a decent insert like Greggz idea. I did that on the Mivv's and it keeps the noise down a bit but doesn't rob as much power as the washer things do. Use perforated tube but the louvred type.
