Or this which according to the missus looks like a dog forced to wear a sad hat..

#14You know, its a very good thing you are on a different continent. Because if you would EVER "smash" anything "off" my bike...it will very definitely be the last thing that you ever do on this earth.
I think the "touring screen" looks great...and I keep one on permanently... it really helps cut the wind at any serious speed....and I also like that extra little screen on top of it..haven't tried that yet though...what exactly is that screen?..the main part...it isn't shaped at all like my OEM touring screen.
I think there should be some sort of small quarter fairing for the SD..that would be perfect.

#23I fitted the MRA screen today and to me it looks ok, the missus says it looks like the sd now has a riot shield LOL
Thing is I bought a multistrada and tried to make it handle like a SD and that cost me lots and just didn't work. This time I bought the SD and made it better for distance, a bigger 08 tank, a screen and provisionfor luggage. So it looks a bit of a shocker but it can now do all the things I want it too.
For anyone that abuses it think how you would feel when it outwheelies you in full on riot shield mode, it's not about how your bike looks but how you ride it. I can't imagine riding an SD and not being able to wheelie for 1/2 a mile yet plenty of people buy them for the image yet fail to live up to it
so ner ner ner ner I like my riot shield
For those that want the mra screen this place has some http://www.bikehps.com/
apparently no more being made ?

#36Just got mine a month ago, it only took 3 days, great service.
Just push the fasteners in gently upon installation or the rubber expansion nuts will push through inside the headlight shroud demanding your disassembly of the headlight/speedo unit. (must re-use o.e. hardware)
