Track day - tyre choices?

Hi

Plannin to take the SD on a track day or two.
Need to get some R&G bungs fitted but am still on Pirelli Diablo tyres with good amount of wear left on them.

Will they be up to the job?

If not or as an alternative, what tyres seem to be the most common choice for grip for the SD.

Any track day experiences and tyre advice warmly welcomed!

I did cadwell on them and found them fine, no step outs, you will be fine unless you are a riding god?

I've tried Pirelli supercorsa, michelin Power Race, and now i got Metzeler Racetek, and i love them, above the other tyres.

Try them if yours are dead.
