I got a phone call from KTM UK today, and I've been nominated to go to Almiera in Spain to test the new RC8, all expenses paid!!!

Apparently I'm a good and loyal customer (I'm on my 6th KTM now and third LC8-powered bike) and have ridden most other models, including both recent RC8s, so I'm an appropriate "member of the KTM-riding public" to go and try out their newest street machine.

It's the first week in Jan, so fingers crossed for the UK's transport idiots to keep the airports open so I can get there!!!!!

(Big thanks to the boys at the KTM Centre in Hemel who put my name in the hat.)

Best Xmas prezzie ever - almost better than getting a job, I reckon.

TIP: Take some warm clothing, maybe something to wear under your leathers, I think you may have some chilly mornings.
