#13The most obvious on my bike is between 3500 and 4000 RPM which happens to be the RPM used for driving through residential neighborhoods. The jerk and pause that happens at these RPMs is obnoxious and annoying. I verified that this phenomena was not just limited to my ride. Several other SD'r have verified that this exists on thier rides as well. Who knows what is really going on. I have read that this is the RPMs where the system transitions from closed to open loop. Who knows???
I could change the sprockets and cams on the throttle to try and smooth out the jerk or change the RPMs used to cruise at 25MPH, but neither of those fix the hole. I am going to try and do this. Rest assured that anything I find while on my adventure to find SD Nivarna will be share with the rest of the group.(forum)

Plugged it into laptop, Vista bloody took over and downloaded the drivers automatically which i couldnt cancel This wooried me but luckly the cable still worked
So connection made, TuneECU converts to KTM graphic (so much nicer than the Trumph graphic ) and off you go
Didnt get any time to mess but grabbed the map out of my ECU and cleared some error codes off
If i can do this anybody should be able to do it! I havnt tried it with the bike running yet but as soon as the bike is back in 1 peice is shall get to it

#72You'll have to use a multimeter to verify what color the wire on position 4, 7 and 16 have.
The multimeter should be in "Ohm" setting. The display should read "OL".
Put a paperclip in the plug, put one lead from the multimeter on the paperclip and the other lead on the wire. Now try the different wires. When the display changes to "0.00" you have found the wire.
If the OBD plug you got only has the 3 wires and they are black, yellow/orange and red there is a 95% chance that 4 = black, 7=yellow/orange and 16 = red.
Hope this helps.
EDIT... shouldn't we be having this discussion in ?

#73the fat end contains (botom of trapezoid) (from left to right while looking into it like in you pic) 8 to 1, the top end (thinner end) is 16 to 9 (left to right).
I chopped the other end of and used a volt meter to find which cable was which.

#84pm me ur email address if you want to try it
remember, this will make your bike very responsive, like adding a quick throttle so if you want smooth and doughy dont use it
FOR EU MODELS ONLY... american fuel will cause detonation!!!!!!!

#85My cables are finally going to arrive today so I can hopefully get the bike plugged in tomorrow. No idea which akra map the bike is running. I've always said to KTM Centre not to update the map when she went in for valve check, as that would potentially throw out fueling of my custom map. I can almost guarantee they ignored this though If only we had had this software then I could have checked all this shit after and corrected it if they had. If I had the dosh I'd be tempted to get a dyno tweak done but I'm brasic Unless I can get him to work with TuneECU in which case I could throw the money from PCIII sale at it.
