But, you already knew that.

I really gelled with the SD yesterday though. Between that and the shitty economy, I think I'll keep it for a while.

CrotchRockety,

Didn't someone just pull a 3rd gear wheelie over a blind rise?
Love the RC look, they have done a proper street bike with an agressive look, different from all the "litre bike" ( even europeans look like japs except ducati and ktm ).

And from what people are saying it handles very well and a lot more confortable than full on RR's.

Personally I've went away from fairing bikes, like people said, too much speed everywhere, the crotchrocket position etc etc

But wouldn't mind to have a rc8 R next to my SD. At all!
John I will have my RC8 at chucky.I put the FMF pipe changed the counter shaft ,put some R wheels and remapped it.Wait to you see it .There are a ton of extra cool light stuff on it Rizoma rear sets set up for tall guys you will love it. Now you know why I love this bike.I have been riding it alot and it is amazing my 3rd gear at redline is my top end on my duke.I can't wait to see how well it does on a track.I signed up for c group so you can give it a go if you want.Try it out on the track maybe that will help see if you really want it.

You know how much I love my duke. The power of the RC8 is so much fun.I will have new tyres and it will be ready to go.I have rode it around some nice sweepers and man it's so fast.

I love the BMW too I think it is so beautiful and the price is right. You can get some great paint jobs.If I did not have the duke and the RC8 I could see me on that BMW.Or if aprilia had a dealer network the RSV4 is amazing.

Lance made me feel gulity because I was not going to bring the duke.So I am going to try to get them all in the trailer. The bikes are so differant I just wanted to try to get used to it so I will be taking it easy till I feel I can let her rip.I have had the duke on the track so I know what to expect.I want to ride as fast as i can on the RC8 It is harder to ride for sure but when it's in a turn it feels so natural.

Bottom line is it's got a lot of duke parts that interchange.I just can't get over how 200 cc can be so much faster I have seen 165 and still had a gear left.
The crotch is right usable power.I had to take a tooth off the front because I could never get out of 2nd gear.
You could ride all day in 2nd now it's so much better. It does not have the power of the BMW but that ok it way fast enough for me.And Crotch my friend I know you are riding b group so if you want to try it for some laps no worries.I know you and John are good riders so I trust your skills.

The RC8 is a bike that is like the duke but the power is always there and I mean real power you have to pay attetion because you don't have a feeling of speed. You don't have the hit it just goes guys.

We are going to have a blast at chucky. I hope I can get all the bikes in the trailer if I can the duke will be there.Because Chucky is great for a duke.

Mods: Still think we need to add an RC8R section to this forum. This is the best forum I've ever had the pleasure to frequent and I think all the lost RC8ers out there could use a good home.[/quote]

Agreed 1000%. There needs to be an RC8 section on here. I'm suprised that there isn't.
