#5Without knowing how old you are, and how naughty you have been, I dont know if that is good or bad. Best thing go on a price comparison site and just input SDR details. This will give you an idea of how much they are loading you for the 2nd bike.

#9Cheapest for me this year was Hastings Direct, 105 quid full comp with protected NCB. They confirm they do multi bike policies, I dont know if they are competitive as I havent bought the second bike yet.
Was with Bikesure for years but got an outrageous loading this year due to the 400EXC. I would still have given them the chance to compete on the SDR alone but they went home at 4pm today and Hastings Direct didnt; snooze you lose.

#12Far.jkin bastards, the lot of ye...I went from paying something like £225 a year on me SD to about £265 when I switched to an RC8. Well, ok methinks tis a more powerful bike an' all....Anyway, this year, the thievin' scum (MCE) be after £600. Despite me not having an accident, nicking, or even a parking ticket. Neither have I become a professional stunt man or a lion tamer, but the absolute best I could do - and I spent days on the phone, was £400 from Bike Devil - bizarrely part of MCE....WTF??? I mean seriously WTF??!! How do they arrive at that? Nothing's changed and suddenly my premiums nearly doubled. Why??
And yes I tried Carol Gash and all the other usual suspects....all north of £600.....WTF??x28....

#13Maybe they give you a cheap year when you first buy an RC8 to get all the problems fixed. Then load you in your second year when you are ready to go fast on it.
Post 14 by Phil @ Bikesure,
#14FYI if you insure 2 bikes on two different policies (same with two cars or car and van etc) you can only use your no claims on one of the vehicles, you can't use your no claims on the other, if you had to make a claim it could be voided.
I had to insure an old shitty van without any NCD was not cheap.
But I guess your old feckers anyway so its still cheap as without
