does anyone know what size our SD's use (outside diameter) wanna buy a kit and cant find one listed but i think they use 10mm and they are easy enough to sorce any info welcome

#2My mate did mine and im sure he said they were 10.5mm, tried giving him a phone just now 2 ask, but he's not in so can't confirm, will try 2 get in touch with him later, I remeber him saying most bikes are 10mm

#4If it helps harley kits are the same size and they do smaller increments.

#5Im curious gfunkmc how many km your bike has done. I recently checked mine at 30k and the were fine and I think klinck checked his at 30 miles and his were good as well. Do yours require shimming or are you just preparing for the worst.

#7mines on 9,900 miles and last time i did a service was 6,000 and iv had it from 4,500 but havent checked the valve clearence so im thinking they r gonna need doing sooner or later and if i strip it all down for a service ie plugs,oil+filter,air filter clean, check the valve clearence and do find it needs adjusting i wanna have the shim kit there straight away other wise ill be off the road arsing around trying to find shims and that my friend can be quite gay
