Took my bike out to an 1/8 mile drag strip this pass weekend. Brought my GoPro along and made a short video. The first 6-7 runs, I had allot of missed shifts. Basically my shifter needed to be mounted lower but I didn't have any tools with me. While riding on the street, I sit more centered on the seat and more upright and the shifter is fine, but when I was at the drag strip, I was all the way forward on the seat and my chest was basically on the tank, so my legs were angled forward a little more. Once I got used to it, I put down my best runs at the end.

No music so you can hear the bike. The first run where I get smoked, I was up against a ZX-14 with an extended swing arm and a drag tyre.

Short video of my best run again.

Thanks for posting buddy. Made me really smile to see you having a go and then hooking up sweet for those final faster runs... a ton is just around the corner eh.
very cool mate... i think its the first drag race SD vid ive seen
How in the hell did you keep the front wheel on the ground??? If i were to try that I'd be flat on my back as the bike wants to flip over backwards in both first and second.

You got wheelie bars on that thing?
You're launching in 2nd, right? Good work, btw....once you got the shifting sorted you were cookin!
