What gear do you prefer?

And don't say the fastest gear!

Leather or Textiles? I'm just curious here, since the SD leans towards the off road build of bikes. I used to wear full race leathers for sports bikes but I reckon you'd look a bit of a ploncker wearing those on a mean piece of muscle like the SD <he says, hoping to god no one on here does>. So what type of gear do you guys wear?
I can't really use my Mick Doohan rep lid any more either, bummer.

Depending on the riding and weather: Helimot leather gloves, Daytona Boots, Helimot back protector, and either a full set of A*'s leathers or my Aerostich roadcrafter suit.

Same as Toby...Always leather !! I'm using Arlen Ness and my old well-used Halvarsson.

Just started to ride to work more often and for that I wear Joe Rocket Alter Ego jacket and trousers. Quite high spec and there are panels you can zip off to allow the air to circulate more and a built in daysack that you can carry them all in! Dependent on temperature glove wise either Race short cuff racing glove or altgo? goretex waterproof gloves. Always my only helmet, Arai RX-7 and only boots Daytona goretex.

For blasts to places I am going to be doing some walking around helmet, boots and choice of glove remain the same. Trousers either A* Street cargo pants or Ixon kevlar threaded jeans. But I do add A* Bionoc knee protecters and Bionic shorts. Both have very solid plastic armour and comfortable to wear. On top either a Joe Rocket leather or the jacket from my RST Voltage 2 piece, very slimming!

More intense rides full leathers, RST 2 Piece.
