Now and then our bikes do something for us , now and then its payback time for all the petrol ,oil, pazzos, tyres, airboxes ,dyno time , cleaning and maintaining .Today was just such a day . Today the SD gave a little back just by sitting still .
Went to tesco on the SD got some food and beer . On the way home saw a couple of mates standing outside the local bar , so I stopped for a swift shandy before home . New barmaid on duty , Russian ,a touch chunky but pretty with massive tits and good ass . So I order my drink in Russian ( I sometimes work in Russia and have a Russian girlfriend ) ,she gets my drink gives it to me then follows me outside She says " very much I like motorbike you must to take me for ride " As angler John Wilson would say " Were in !! "
And your girlfriend said (in Russian ) ?

My 916 did a similar favour for me in 97.
Ended up living with the girl.

I wish I'd never parked there - she turned out to be a proper mental case!
Mine brought tears to my eyes. Gave me clutch arm RSI a month ago and I've been travelling anyway, but haven't ridden for too long. Yesterday, kitted up ready for a blast up the south west coast of Malaysia and the bloody battery was flat. Grrr. Need a new one. Tears.

saved me from a t-boning with it's excellent brakes!
an idiot pulled out from a junction and had i been on anything else, it could have been very painful.
but hard on the dukes brakes back wheel weaving all over i had time to stare him out and scream at him from under my helmet "you fooking idiot!!!" as he shook his head in shame and tried desperatly to get out the way.
a near miss that i thank my superduke for not being an accident.
