Ok let me explain.

We all have SDs. OK

And we of course. All agree, that they are superb.

But throughout our "Biking History" How much of a "Hooligan" have we been?

Just wondered.

How many would Sh1te themselves at admittance?

Go on!

Be a Hooligan.

Noooo.Tweeked the throttle past 70 mph shit.

BTW. Them Police don't look at this Forum. (They donnot, even know. We exist!!!)

Hairy tales cannot be proved. But make interesting conversation.(Remember that?')

Forget about GPro. That's for Newbees.

Come on folks. We cannot all be "First Rides"
Once I launched my Duke II over a rise that was a perfect airborne leap. I went holyfuckinhellthat was scaryfun.
I thought that it went so well that I was headed to the x games in the summer. I went back and did it again. Well sort of once I had the presince of mind to freak at the possible unbecoming outcome of a dumbshit doing things he is tottaly unprepared for I never have launche that rise as well as that one time. I have been over this rise on at least one hundred more occasions and I will be dammed to get the rear off again.
So the hooligan was pure ignorant behaviore and the hooligan in me, That miniscule amount that makes up more than my midiclorion count is much closer to being discribed as PUSSY.
First rule, never incriminate yourself, before the net half of the crimes where solved in the local pub. Fact!
The day I picked up my SDR I was riding through Manhattan and stopped at Houston and Broadway - a busy shoppers intersection. Decided to blast away from the lights but wasn't completely aware of the bike's wheelie tendencies. Th front wheel went pretty much vertical and I over compensated and brought the bike to a complete and bouncy stop. Looked like a complete tool.
Recorded by vascar thingy twice at 130MPH.

On a 250.

A very stiff telling off.

It was the escape of the century. Although they were in a traffic car they were 2 bike coppers. I had been a great witness for one of them in a RTA investigation a few months before.

The one thing that made the biggest difference, we were clocked on a A road NSL, they caught up with us because we had slowed to 30 after entering a built up area.
you lucky fecker!

Mine was last year where I came up behind to bike cops who were stuck behind 5 cars. I was 15 miles from my brothers in the Cotswolds and had ragged the SD all the way there. Rather than turning off and taking a different route I went with the bikes when they overtook and accelerated away. After a couple of miles the one at the back got the hump with me and pulled me over. We only hit 80mph and I was a good 30 yards back but he went fooking ballistic and really wasn't happy that I couldn't wipe the grin off my face. I had such a fab ride down and just got carried away. Anyway he couldn't do me for speeding but my front tyre was at the marker on the right handside and he did me for 3 points for that. Lesson learned, next time turn off and take a different route
On the back wheel over Waterloo bridge at 80mph on the SD
Was shitting myself for several weeks after that expecting a knock at the door.

Had some lucky escapes from the law:
1. Clocked at 117 coming out of the tunnel at Hide Park Corner on my Guzzi Daytona 1000 kitted BEARS racer. Massive, world class begging got me off and he didn't check that the chassis number wouldn't have matched the number plate I'd put on from a road - legal bike.

2. Got pulled by the Gendarmes in France for 253kp/h in a 50kp/h zone. There were men with guns and dragon's teeth across the road. Pulled our whole group, confiscated our bikes and summoned to appear before the magistrates in Alencon on the Monday (this was Saturday). Of course, when abroad we always take spare keys which you give to your mates for safe keeping so, when they went for lunch, we came back and stole our bikes back. Getting back into the UK without our passports was fun but at least we didn't ruin the trip . . . there were letters of complaint from the British Embassy waitig for us on our return, however . . .

3. When Superbike magazine was just reinventing itself they organised a double trackday (which was an almost new idea at the time) one at Oulton Park the other at Snetterton with a day's cross country thrash in between.
I won't bore you with the details but the main group proceeded across England with a complete disregard for other road users. At one point a lone copper stood in the middle of the road with a radar gun and waved us all into a layby. Then someone said "he can't get us all; let's go" and so we did. The police were, apparently, appealing for witnesses. (course I wasn't there)

4. Got pulled and sent for 'driver awareness training' for pulling wheelies on my new Superduke (2005) between stationary traffic on the M5.

Is that enough daftness for one post?
Dave, that post is a thing of beauty!
Dave, you sir are a Hooligan!

Good on ya!

As for me, at the mo I can only think of two...

Almost getting my knee down on my VFR on an empty M6 toll, with no more go in the engine (top gear running out of revs). Then two marked cop cars on the otherside of the Mway started flashing their head lights at me (there was no other vehicles on the Mway at the time).

The other was getting pulled round the back roads up here after I was getting a shift on/overtaking numerous cars. Was coming up to a 30 when I came behind a lorry and 3 cars. Decided to stay behind them, looked in the mirror with a cop car filling it. Hit the 30, lights on, I pull over.
Copper says "what's the limit here"
Me "60 officer"
"what speed were you doing"
"not that!"
"we had to do 120 just to keep up with you, so get in the back of the car!"
Got off with it though because as I opened the car door, I was told to wait, they got in and watched the video, got out and they said they that they didn't actually catch me on camera so weren't gonna pursue it .

Had a K4 Gixxer that was unlicensed and used to just blatt away from the coppers whenever in trouble, but got chased outside of the city once and there are no decent side roads for a couple of towns...
I was going almost flat out in some spots and then ran low on fuel.
Stopped and filled as I came into town and then, paid for the fuel (didn't even think of doing a runner)
As I kitted up to go again the copper came flying up on me.
I yessir'd, nosir'd all he had and played dumb and shocked that the bike was unlicensed, and I was on my learners.
I had to sit down as it turns out I had broken a rib dirtbiking at my brothers house and I think that gained me some sympathy.
So I was getting my arse handed to me, and I pleaded that it was christmass eve and I was on my way to my mother's(true)
He handed me $750 worth of fines and that's the only time I've thanked a copper for fining me and said that he was heading 8okm back south and that if I left north and was not a dickhead, I might just make it. I saw another 3 coppers on the 120km to my mothers.
I pulld my head in after that and didn't get a fine for another 6 years... Then I moved back to the city and bought an SD... 3 points left
1979...... 7.00am cruising down the A1M from Welyn Garden city to Stevenage on my old Yoshi Honda CB550 doing about 85mph, spot one of them new 2.8i Ford Capri`s in my mirror, as he closes up on me he flashes me up, aint having that am i...... i drop a gear get down on the tank 11,000 in 4th into 5th keep it pinned itsa slight downhill to Stevenage so I am soon pulling over 11,000 in top S&S exhaust howling in my ears, check my mirror the Capri is about half a mile back still flashing his lights...... what a wanker I think to myself..... still flat out I pass under the bridge at Stevenage south just as two Rover SDi police cars are coming down the slip road with their lights going, I roll off hit the brakes and sit up and pull into the inside lane with the slower traffic, one of the SDi`s paases me and hits the brakes, he cuts in front of me and puts on the STOP sign, the other SDi is right up my chuff, we pull onto the hard shoulder I get off the bike, pull off my lid........ Then the Capri rolls up, yep its a copper Police Stop sign in the rear window I am fooked........ the driver jumps out of the Capri just as a cloud of steam appears from under the bonnet, guess a head gasket has popped ha,ha, the copper is really pissed and staight in my face giving me a right bollocking, 127mph + he tells me and dangerous driving and failing to stop and anything else he can think of......... I get my ticket, some more bollockings by the other coppers, threatened with arrest because I cant stop giggling at the Capri which is still steaming and the red faced driver who is still stomping around me, eventually they let me go, knowing I am looking at a ban I spend the next 2 months until the court case riding like a complete dick, I get another pull for 102mph in a 60 limit, another failing to stop, copper in a 1.3 Ford Escort chased me and I went home, pulled 1st to 3rd wheelie in front of another copper on me RD350E, nicked again......... did me for dangerous driving again and no brake light.......
3 court appearances later I am banned 4 times for a total of 2 years and have 21 endorsements on my licence

Since I got my licence back I have only been nicked once and that was in a van doing 60 when i should have been doing 50 on a limited dual

I learned a lot in those few years
I once stole a Kinder Egg when I was little...

Don't know what a "Whistle Me" is.

But I do know what paranoid is, and I haven't been paranoid for years now - ever since I started taking the old Haloperidol

I notice that you didn't actually incriminate yourself. Just one of those that encourages others to do so ? Just wondering.

Put your video where your mouth is

Mmmm....

I don't have a video camera.(Don't think they're called that any more.)

Into KTMs and people enjoying them.

I have never spoken of bravado.(Showing off!) That's up to guys like you.
Fakujak72 isn't my real name (CI .Strang. Will know it. )and although it may conjure up a picture in your head??????

That is your Fantasy. I have never bragged about anything.

Others answering the thread aren't bragging, They are being honest AFAIAC.

Good onya.
last year riding to aragon , on the probably the last peaje before reaching the pyranees , we came to a very busy toll gate and the gy leading decided to take the gate that was automatically lifting as the cars passed through. ( with hindsight we know they had tags in the cars for the express lane)
anyway unbeknown to the guy in front he proceeded to drive at the barrier thinking it would lift , obviously it didnt and his RT1200 bus knocked the barrier back on a joint and alarms started to sound and a french women came on the tannoy speaking .........french.
Not knowing any french we had a quick decision to make , there were no staff at the barrier.
so because they did not have the courtesy to speak english we sped off into the ditance expecting the dibble to be on our tails.
Due to the lad that hit the barrier being flustered , he proceeded to drive on the wrong side of the road at a slip road and he crashed into a ford focus knocking the front quarter of this womens car , his bike was ok!!!
She also adopted the selfish stragedy of speaking french to us ( well screaming ) and as the driving off without a care panned out so well on the first incident we decided to stick with the winning formula and drove again.
We expected the dibble to find us but we stayed off the toll roads all the way back up , which proved to be the right choice anyway
Probably not the dumbest thing I have done but certainly am kicking myself about it as it has set certain plans back a bit.

I broke my wrist at the joint through both bone while doing down Hill mountain biking with indy84. Here I was thinking that pushy's offroad was mildly safer (hadn't given up motorbikes, just doing mtn biking to increase fitness)... Either way pain in the arse as was ready to get some important things off the ground.

Only good thing is the morphine tablets
Anyways.

Stupitest thing I've done on a KTM? There are a few. But as far as an SD's concerned.

Early on in the Forum I complained about, the state of the initial Superdukes fuelling. So much so that KTM listened and gave me a New bike

I picked it up from the Dealer before it was registered and swapped the Tax disc over from "Old to New".

I rode off feeling good that I was now on a "Sorted bike".

I was no more than 15 miles into my journey, I had to filter down a line of cars at Traffic lights.

Unfortunately, a van had stopped to allow a car exit from a Petrol Station. The car pulled out in front of me. I slammed on the anchors and probably did the highest "Stoppie" you will ever see and promptly got thrown off the SD and over the bonnet of the car. I was OK but panic ensued, as everyone blamed each other. Police were called. I got breathalised, whilst standing in front of my "Non legal" Tax disc. Damage wasn't bad. It was going back to the Dealers that was the embarrassing bit. Especially after all the hasstle I had been giving them over my previous SD.

Before this incident I was riding my Duke 640 and I actually punched a Policeman that turned in front of me.
Snapped the headstock of my bike trying to avoid him.
Nearlly killed me.

I was riding in Austria with two friends. One of the guys had an BMW F800R or what it's called.. And he was insane. Drove it like it was stolen and he had cancer and would die the next day!
I thought hell no, I can keep up with him.. and speeded into a city with a 80km/h limit.. The cop caught me with 131, and took 3km/h off to 128km/h.. and told me that if I had driven above 130km/h he would have confiscated my bike and kept my drivers license.

€100 and an hour later we are driving exactly the same way again.. This time I just slow down into the city but my friend doesn't. I have it on video where he just blasts past a cop that tries to signal him to stop

Hahaha yeah when he stopped me I felt like puking - I knew that in Denmark where I live that speed would cost a lot more, possible my license too.. So I had a bit of trouble not laughing when he told me that I (only) had to pay €100..
No wonder KTM makes a hooligan bike for the road with fines like these, you simply care less being cought
