went out for a blast today all A roads and the odd roundabout in between,half the milage was quick riding the rest on the way back home i rode like a lunatic up and down the gears wheeling etc etc basically riding like a nut case,done 60-65 miles there and back and reserve light came on..??? this cant be normal can it..???? £20 filled the bike up on optimax and filled it to the top..?????

#3fook me before the mods i was getting 100 + miles to a tank and i used to ride it as fast then....lol when me and gfunkmc went out i never filled up till i was on the way home.??? he fileed up atleast twice on that ride in the mountains...lol

#4On the '07 tank I've never got more than 100 out of it. More like 85 - 90. But I haven't seen this go down much since fitting the Motobox.
To be honest, I always need to stop for a piss or a Mars bar or a cup of tea so I'm not that bothered by this obsession of getting hundreds of miles out of a tankful. I know it's a bit of a fag filling up but it's not the end of the world is it?
Anyway, better than riding off with half a tanker of fuel sloshing around between your legs. Who wants that eh?

#5 ....its just starting to get a expensive hoby riding the duke compared to the gsxr,id get the same milage from £9 on the gsxr compared to £20 on the duke... note to self dont change gears as much....
