Here's the original thread from when they started making the rearset adjusters, pics and stuff atart on page 4, there are also fitting instructions on that thread somewhere I believe.

http://www.superduke.net/forum/viewtopi ... +adjusters

Here is a pic of all the stuff in the kit

Image
jester or samba if i can get a stencle of the plates that would be so much easyer for me so if u know some 1 or u have them and u can draw around them and dot the holes and then send them 2 me ill get some knocked up
You'll also need the spacer that goes on the brake lever to keep the rod in line with the master cylinder laterally after adding the thickness of the adapter plate.

Unfortunately that plate for the master cylinder is a pain to get to and fit so there's no way I'm removing it again to draw round it.

Just measure up the bolt centers and make a plate with the extra holes at that distance apart, or just enlarge that picture until it lines up with the holes on your std footrests
This winter I have mostly been breaking my brake caliper seals.
This winter I have mostly been staring outside wishing the weather would improve!
Things to do soon -

I've got to install my PC3, and get it custom mapped in the next couple of weeks.
Need to do an oil change.
Get my swingarm, spring and subframe powercoated.
Swap over my tyres and fit my white wheels.

Ride the fookin' thing in anger!

I've fitted a Micron exhaust and a Gabro V5 chip to the Tuono. Both removed 2 days later because they're simply too loud for use around my village in the mornings.

I've fitted some PP Tuning levers which happen to be the prettiest levers ever made

Image

Bought a new set of Maxxis Supermaxx tyres for the beast

Did Gold chain and renthal sprockets. Carbon hugger and dash cover... errrrrm new Double bubble screen.

I've been kinda busy:

Image

Image

When I bought the bike, I had the dealer install, front and rear axle sliders, a tank guard, fork bleeders and a gel seat.

Since then, I've added the following:

ASV shorty levers;

Leo Vince CF slip on;

WP Steering damper;

Upper and Lower R&G Sliders;

Touring windscreen; and,

SAS removed.

Could not get it remapped because the dealer was having software problems, but that is next on the list.

I also purchased a KTM tank bag and a Kriega US 30 set up for trips. I bought a CF cowl for the stock seat and just banging around in town. I also bought the brake and clutch reservoir covers you can see in the picks. Finally, I bought a CF front fender - which I'm still waiting for.

Oh, and bought my first ever personalized plate - but the unveiling will have to wait until I get it.
Not much really. I think the SD is pretty complete as is. The previous owner put FMF CF cans on and remapped.

Ive just put on swing arm spools, front axle sliders, the toruing fairing and a tank pad.

I've polished the entire exhaust system to look as new. I think a clean exhaust system is essential for a bike to look good.

And I think I've got the little electrical problem beaten, so I"M READY FOR SPRING! RIGHT NOW!!!
Scotts SD, Touring windshield, CF fenders, 2CT's, Leo Vince, reflash, throttle cam (100), new radiator hose (since it decided to spray down the left side with coolant), endless suspension adjustments and a set of ugly ass military base stickers!

Oh yeah, and I took every electrical connector apart and applied dielectric grease.

If you've never had the front brake calipers off, take those bolts out and grease them.

I'll never understand why bike mfgs put everything together dry.
Just odered this bad boy

Black with gold pins. Should be good for 2bhp

Gone for a renthal 40T instead of 38T

Dan, if you get a 40tooth youl run out of top end at Cadwell (thats why i ditched my 40t and went bak 2 38T!)

Oil now changed and new K&N ordered for the MAR box
On anutha note - i think i might open a bike shop!
If you have some connectors for the wiring for the lights its better than electrical tape enable a quicker swap over if your running race mask with lights BUT you have to cut the two mounts off each indicator as there are 3 holes in the standard mask. (I doesnt move around after) and drill a hole in the side for the lights to go through, this needs to be done really as the indicators hold the mask in place.

Also had to make two mounts on the inside of the mask for the 2 screws above the speedo/rev counter, I just used some wood beading and drilled a hole in as you cant see it.

I did see some guy as the KTM meet at cadwell a couple of years ago who had somehow managed to cut out the carbon and put the speedo in.....?

Simples.

I been down that train of thought already BigAsh, I got the race harness with the mask although the bloody gits removed the bulbs from it, but sometimes I'm gonna have to ride to track days until I can get something else sorted and I figured it saves me faffing about in the summer taking it on and off again for road or track rides if I can just leave it on the bike, I can always use the RC8 if I need to go out of an evening.
Done:

1 no. crash repair,
1 no. wheel/fork/frame alignment check,
4 no. roadside recoveries,
3 no. dealer services,
1 no. HM Racing suspension set-up,
2 no. pairs of 2CTs,
2 no. sets of front brake pads (Ferodo - calipers cleaned weekly),
1 no. pair front fork seals,
1 no. set of Kriega front fork seal protectors,
1 no. radiator (again),
1 no. replacement Cox Racing radiator guard,
3 no. batteries (avoid Varta - use OE Yuasa or Hawk, Odyssey or similar),
1 no. wiring continuity check,
2 no. decorrosion/replacement of battery/generator/regulator wiring,
2 no. Stebel horns.
1 no. ShockTube,
1 no. set of sprockets (16:39) and chain,
3 no. graphite/ceramic exhaust gaskets,
1 no. OE rear hugger (replacing two crap Skidmarx huggers),
10 no. approx low beam bulbs,
1 no. KTM alarm fob,
1 no. side stand eliminator switch,
1 no. spare race belly pan,
1 no. set of Tracker stickers,

Being done:

1 no. 180 rear spring but looking for a 190,
1 no. speedometer cover, silicone sealed with internal silica gel sachets,
1 no. digital voltmeter
1 no. digital ammeter,
2 no. O2 sensor eliminators,
1 no. dewatering of all electrical connectors particularly main ECU connector as currently suffering from Toyota like throttle (5000 rpm tickover/closed throttle anyone? - not ideal in central London traffic),

etc, etc...................just another British winter really but still worth it.
Most of this self indulgent, obsession driven list is a direct result of joining this forum and reading about what I could do, getting sucked into the thrill and nearly driving my, (lets face - it very tolerant partner, Amy), up the wall. Just had a baby too so the timing for new obsession is bad.

Things got off Ebay cheap;

1. Carbon rear hugger and chain guard.
2. Carbon clutch and ignition engine protectors.
3. Dave Heal's Superduke series race shock for £125.

Things got that weren't cheap;

1. LED integrated tail / indicator light from Aus. Super cool I think, love it.
2. Rizoma number plate / indicator hanger.
3. Rizoma Zero indicators. Not, not cheap.
4. Rizoma flat, black, superbike handlebars.
5. New replacement footrests for rearsets, (after more than a few track crashes last year)
6. Motohooligan Motobox. Not cheap but best value buy of the year.
7. Motohooligan SAS block-off plates.
8. Dynojet PC111

Things that were good value;

1. Sebel Nautilus horn. Loud, loud, loud!:o
2. Glass exhaust header wrap.
3. Front suspension air bleed valves.
4. Stomp grip panels for tank - wow this makes a difference for hard braking!
5. New carbon sleeves for rebuilt Akras. (see my thread for suppliers)
6. Rivets, nutserts and fitting tool for above.
7. Packing for above. Akra prices absolutely suck - do not pay!!

Mods done because of Forum influence;

1. That Motobox!!!! OMG! You all have to do it. Just for the sound!
2. SAS removal. Good riddance, pile of heavy junk.
3. The 1st and 2nd gear wire mod thing - just in case map and PC111 don't.
4. Resistor mod to go with SAS removal.

Other stuff;

Tried to address the gravel damage sustained from several offs at Brands Hatch last year. Bike is pebble-dashed like the shell of a deep space cruiser from a science fiction film. Gave up - it's a lost cause and I console myself that this adds overall character.

Bought a Skidmarx screen and a KTM touring screen but hated the look. Sold them on Ebay. Don't care how much wind blast they divert they are pig ugly and I can't do that to my bike. I love it too much. It's like dressing Arnie, the Terminator, in a fluffy, pink bikini. I'll grow stronger neck muscles thanks.

What I need to do before the sun comes out;

1. Do an oil change!
2. Get a custom map for the PC111. Doing it at HM Racing.
3. Fit the race shock and get it sorted for my fat arse.

When I talked to them they were really friendly. They did all the Bracken Superduke Battle bikes a few years ago so know the LC8 engine. I'm just waiting for a bit of a weather break to book myself in - need to take a day off work and I don't fancy wasting the day riding down there in the pissing rain and sitting about soaking wet. Want to enjoy it - and the ride back - a bit more.

Interestingly they don't actually recommend a dual map. They say they can do one - but don't normally bother.
