I'll be installing a factory Akrapovic full system in a couple of weeks. Really looking forward to that but then I have to ask, what to do with the original, stock exhaust system? Is there any value to it other than to the scrap metal guy? I gave away a complete stock system on a 2008 Suzuki GSXR 750 after I put a full Yoshimura on that bike. The dealer didn't even want it. They told me that when crashed bikes were fixed no one wanted to put a stock system back on. Does the SuperDuke 1290 share a similar fate? Or does it sit in the back of the garage for years?

#2If you trade the bike in (here at least) dealer will give you no more than stock value of the bike. So better off putting the original zorst back on and recouping some cost by on selling the Akro.
