whats my sdr worth

Hi all looking for some advice as I'm thinking of swopping my SDR for a ducati hypermotard sp.

So I have a 2012 SDR with 3000 miles mint condition with akky cans on dealer said £6000 for PX which I think is low, now I do know that dealers like to make around a grand from any PX they take but I've seen a 2011 standard SD for £7000


Any ideas for PX value and a price for a private sale would be.

If your pxing I would take off the akra's and sell privately along with any other extras, stealers will not give you anything for the extras

Unfortunately I think the demand for this model will be less than the last of the true SDRs. They will always be seen as a bit of a parts bin special without the cudos of the single seat version.

But you're always going to take a big hit buying new and selling with low mileage. You just need to find the right buyer who appreciates that it's nearly new and wants a dual seat anyway because of pillion requirements. You just need to check what's the cheapest you could pick up a new SDR for and undercut this price by a good grand or more. Bear in mind that many dealers will do a deal to sell a new bike and add on kit and extras as an incentive. I got a set of Akras, carbon bits and a free service when I bought mine in' 07.

Best thing is to post up pictures on here and see if there is any interest.
