whats the best battery charger?

i,ve got one of those ones that aldi were selling, it looks just like a ctek, what do you guys use and how do you rate them? after reading on here i will be leaving my charger connected, i,ve never had to do that before but i suppose it takes a lot of juice to push those 2 big slugs up and down to start it
