#7Fit the nozzle between the grip and the handlebars and work the grip off the end of the bars. Very easy! No damage to the grips and its not messy at all.

#8I don't think compressed air will work with heated grips as they are lot thicker and less flexible than stock.
How easy they are to remove, I guess, is inversely proportional to the amount of superglue you used to fit them in the first place

#12Window cleaner, the type in spray bottle....
The soap in it makes it slide off. Squirt it in between and work the grip loose. After, clean out with rag and job done.
Even the glue in the grip works again after it dried out.
We all have it at home so give it a try!

#13I dipped a butterknife blade in dish soap, then slid the knife in between the handlebar and grip, roating it all away around the handlebar. It separated where the grip had been held in place from the factory with adhesive, made the grips slide off easily, and I was able to reuse the factory grips after I installed grip warmers.

#14Compressed air will work just fine with the grip warmers. I have tryed all the other ways of installing and removing grips on various bikes. Compressed air is simple, easy, cleanest and really is the only way.

#21compressed air was no use, i took the grip off and sliced through the old throttle tube with a hacksaw blade then the old throttle tube just slid out! the new rc8r tube has lots of indentations and raised bits on it so that the grip dosnt slide,but the heated grip dosn,t fit so i had to file it smooth and then it fitted fine ,job done i,ll test it tommorow
