Behind the headlight, lower left (left side of the bike).

I replaced all my blinkers with LED ones, and had to replace the flasher also, but the aftermarket flasher didn't work either for me. I had to add a third LED per side on the circuit to get it to flash. Just a single 12 volt LED tapped into the connecter under the seat. One for each side.
The SD electrical system has something weird about it, as I have two other KTM's with dualsport kits using LED blinkers, and they both work fine with the same flasher (pep boys #36 LED flasher).

A tech at my dealer told me to reinforce the ground leg on the circuit for both sides to battery negative, and that the stock flasher should work with the LED's. I have not tried that yet, nor have I tried the stock flasher with the third LED.

Let me know what you find.

thanks for the info mate, mine are working ok just flashing too fast, its because of the led,s having less resistance than the normal lamp so reinforcing the earth will do nothing , you can add resistors into the circuit but its easier to just fit the relay
