just back from the nw200 and ive noticed i need new pads for the front, i priced the brembo ones and they are £100 a set!! can anybody recommend anything else thats good please?

#3It was SBS HH pads that were in the bike when I sold it. How were they? IIRC they were about £65 for the set and were recommended on here.

#7I put Carbonne Lorraine XBK 5 pads on my SD and couldn't be happier. True two finger stopping power (actually sometimes I only use one finger on my ASV shorty lever) good initial bite and progressive feel. I haven't done any stoppies with them. I'm sure they are very capable of doing stoppies, but I usually wrack my balls when I try doing stoppies, so no stoppies for me. As a plus, they don't seem to generate as much dust as the OEM pads and unlike the OEM pads rarely squeal.
Oh, and if you want a usable rear brake, go for the CL RX3 pads. I find myself actually using the rear brake to settle the bike now. Before it was useless.

#8In my opinion you cant go wrong with Bendix.
Used them on my Race,Track and Road bikes over the years.
In conjunction with Brembo master cylinder,braided hoses and good quality fluid there awesome.

#10EBC HH Sintered. Great pads, with great stopping power, 0 fade. Won't break the bank either.
