I've had a TSS (Sigma), and currently have an STM (Duc, dry) and the Suter (KTM) on my SD. I also have an OEM Suzuki slipper, mentioned only for comparison.
I'm a fan of slipper clutches, particularly on high-comp V-twins. I found the hopping on my SDR on the street to be unbearable ... and I could envision a fateful corner entry on even a small amount of loose material, ending up on my head. So, I ride a little fast now and then. Invaluable IMO, even for the occasional trackday attendee. Seriously, I consider slipper clutches a "safety feature", as well as a performance accessory. I still rev match, and ease out the clutch, but a slipper just improves that process, drama-free.
In monetary terms, if a hard street or track rider, what does even one minor low side cost? If a slipper saves the bacon just once, its paid for in my book. One might argue that it only enables that much more hooliganism ... If a concern, then why own a SuperDuke?
I like the Suter, of them, seems to me to be the least perceptible. I also think the Suter is the best-engineered of the lot. I also like the diaphram spring actuation (yes, I know STM has these now as well), but the force rating on the one that came with the KTM model for the SD, was inadequate. Went to the next value. Sure, it was heavier at the lever, but no worse than the stock clutch - and unlike the spring that came with the Suter slipper, it has never slipped. I am not the only one to have experienced clutch slipping with the spring that comes with the Suter (from KTM). I have posted elsewhere on the spring value I'm using, Suter part numbers, etc.
Good luck with your decision.
