Which way does it go?

In Oz we keep to the correct side of the road(usually) which is the left side. To emphasise this, I have almost unnoticably pasted your bike into the google street view of last Saturday arvo's ride.

Now the question.
You're riding with a group that you haven't ridden with on roads you don't know. The lead rider has disappeared over the crest.
Which way did he go.

Yes, there's a clue in the picture.

So how fast would you go over this blind crest

(He broek no bodily bits but his Yammie was left at the farmers shed for collection at a later stage.)
Google maps search "410 Barry Neville Rd, Neville, NSW, Australia" and you'll see the sign did not lie.
I'd prolly hit that at about 30-40mph...depending on whether that sign means "sharp left" or just "left"....then scrub some more off if need be.

I'm guessing he went straight on or right?

Pix?
When I did my ROSPA advanced award I asked what was an appropriate speed to ride at, my instructor told me to ride at a speed so you can stop in the distance that you can see to be clear and stay on your own side of the road.

Thats the speed I would have been travelling at.....

Have just looked at the google maps thingie.....it's not exactly a hairpin, he must have been going over 100mph to get that wrong surely?? Unless there was a roo parked in the middle of the road?
