Why is this so tough? (update...it's getting worse!)

I was pretty sure that a Super Duke or Super Duke R was the next bike I would own. However, I am being tempted by things like an '09 MV Augusta Brutale 1078 RR... why can't I just make a decision and be out having fun?!?!? I never really thought I liked the look of the Brutale, until I saw one w/ some carbon and a full Arrow System I could nearly buy two SD's for the price the guy is asking for the Brutale ($14K), but it is like a work of art that you would almost feel bad for not buying and riding the living piss out of it. Uhggg, we'll see...
the 1078 brutale has alot more power. looks great too. but I don't like inline fours.

read the latest BIKE magazine they say the 1078 is no comparison to the newer 1090 version (same size engine). Much more refined and smoother.

it has the quickest 40-120 acceleration of ANY bike they've tested!!

Lotsa money, lotsa bike... Makes the S1000rr look like an even better buy?

It's getting worse!!!... A Ducati Streetfighter passed me on the freeway today and seeing one in action is much better than the showroom...it's absolutely gorgeous!!! So I proceed to call a dealer in So. Cal... he tells me he can get me a demo for about $1000.00 off w/ 500 miles... ok deal, but then proceeds to tell me he's got a couple RC8r's w/ >2,000mi for about $12K! Now I am thoroughly confused, as I originally wanted an SD or SDR, then it was an MV Brutale, on to a DUCATI SF and now I'm considering an RC8r just because the price. I highly doubt I'll go for the RC8r, seeing as I want something more upright and the Dr. just told me I have severe arthritis in my back at the ripe age of 26!!! I think I'm just going to get a Vespa until I get my shit together and make a decision on a bike. LOL.
I never realised picking a bike was so hard. When I first saw the 01 F4I I had to have it so I bought one. Then when I wanted something different, I saw the SD and had to have it. Both easy decisions. I say go for the SD.
Yeah, when I wanted my first bike, I knew it would be a GSX-R 600...then it came down to color and that was no biggie either. I don't know what the hell my problem is now... it's like I've gotten more indecisive and picky as I've gotten older... I'm gonna be one sorry ass old man, that's for sure.
There are a lot of really cool bikes out there right now. The style of the SD just made it so easy for me. I used to be in the Air Force so the F-22 look just works for me.
Have you considered one of these? This is my next KTM.
