WP Steering damper 'free play'?

Hey guys, can any of you with the SDR (or SD with under steering WP steering damper) tell me if the free play on the connecting bracket is normal? I see there is a 'heim' bearing in there so I am assuming this 'free play' is normal. If I grab the end of the damper rod, I can wiggle the unit around a bit.

Yep normal, Ohlins have the same free play
