Yet another question about wheelies....

Sorry to add to the ever increasing tide of posts folks, but I have a wee problem with wheelying the BatBike.
I am petrified of binning it as it seems to wheely only at STOOPID speeds.
Ping the clutch in second, 30MPH with 4.5-5k on the counter, up she pops.
By the time I have panicked, whapped the throttle closed and the front has touched down, I'm doing around 50MPH.
I also can't seem to manage longer than about 20-30 feet before she touches down again.
Was told I'm sitting to far forward, so I've moved back almost to the pillion perch, which has helped a LOT.

So, just wondering if anyone has any advice how to wheely at slower speeds?

Other question is how to wheely from a stopped position, like at a set of traffic lights.
Have seen folk leave the lights on one wheel, is it just a case of dumping the clutch straight away?
My fear about that is the bike might not go off in a straight line.

Do I just need to grow a bigger pair, or is there some technique(s) that I'm missing.
Stoppies I feel fine with mind you, managing to get rolling ones on the go now.

Of course, KTM, this is purely a hypothetical situation, and I would never dream of abusing your wonderful creation in such a way, especially not if another fork seal pops or the head bearings seem particularly loose next week when your lovely mechanic does my 13500 mile service...

The rear brake is your co-pilot

That said, my ankles aren't very flexible.
Go get a 100cc dirt bike & practice crashing/wheelying. It's much cheaper than fixing the KTM all the time (and lighter to pick up). I tend to pick up the front in first, accelerating, and hold it through 2nd/3rd, or until my vagina grows too big (or the stop sign looms). The balance point is quite high, so brake pedal "coverage" on the SD is mandatory.
joe loves first gear on this bike, a Mar air box, G-3 throttle, PCIII, leo aluminium cheapo's, this bike power wheelies in first and 2nd,

getting on the highway close to my shop, the road is curved, a sweeper, I do a long 1st gear, no jerk/clutch, set her back down gently,

when shifting to 2nd, up around 7500-8000, she rises again.... but now i am turning and leaning into the sweeper at 65 mph,

(I fooking LOVE! the turning/leaning wheelieing wheelies best feeling next to cumm). These are voluntary power wheelies, in first just barely rolling.

If you let off it comes down, if you gas her more she rises, thare is really allot of room to play with on the SD. Ease is what makes it scary.

This bike is thrilling to say the least!
