very nice, you could use a larger license plate though, the one you have there is pretty small...
I do like the Yoshi's, but after seeing the carbon Mivv's i'm not sure what ones I like best. The yoshi's do sound more sociable though, are they baffled?
thsoe sound so quiet compared to my yoshi's

Eddie, Thanks. what exhausts have you got?
All aftermarket exhausts require the removal of the stock heat guards. The round Akra's have some custom CF covers, but they look odd (to say the least).

It couldn't be easier to get the passenger pegs on and off.

Took about an hour to fit with a beer or two.. The weight saving is enormous although i now have to reset the sag and the quality is second to none (I had a set on my Busa). The hardest bit was removing the pillion pegs as the bolts had dried out in their threads and were welded tight! The vid doesn't do the pipes justice (when i first fired it up, the neighbour's little girl burst out crying according to my GF).

I'm sorting out the rear end this winter as i've already had enquiries from an advertising billboard company to place adverts on the number plate...

Looks sharp. I love the carbon look with the orange (or white) Superduke. Too bad Yosh has to put their gigantic logo on it.

i like.

are the cans made of CF, or are they sleeved in CF?

BTW, where did that sunny mild day come from?...i thought you lot had 3 weeks of mild weather in May...and the rest of the year it rains...
Not sleeved, just purest carbon & they weigh very little..

Guess i just got lucky with the weather - I've not had a soaking for over 2 years!!!

Strat,

Not sure about the new Akra rebrand, I can see why they've done it though. The reworked scorpion icon and typography is far more contemporary but it somehow lacks character. The scorpion is now so abstract that I bet many newcomers wouldn't even know thats what it was. Didn't Akra used to be called Scorpion years ago before they decided to be proud of their heritage and proper name?

To be honest, knowing something of the way Eastern European companies work, they will not have spent very much time or money on their design or branding and they get what they pay for.

Just found this on their website. So funny that they even say they were worried about changing their name!
