I also like your other, more subtle, plan - So I'm going to get my daughter to sit on my bike "for photo's" and I won't mention a thing about her standing on the crappy plastic heelguards. When they break, I can go tell the Wife I need alloy ones

#12The right clamp could probably be flipped so the bolt is located on the top of the pipe and out of sight for the most part. Those clamps are strong and functional IMO, same ones used on my Ducati.
The sharp angular lines of the FMF can compliment the lines of the bike..........again IMO.
The shape is similar to the newer Akra's, T doubt they'll have serious negative performance traits, though round still appears to be the ultimate shape in exhaust flow.
My concern with the FMF is the Y pipe single baffle's impact on sound and performance. I'd prefer to be "somewhat" responsible in the early am hours leaving for work in my neighborhood with sleeping children.

They're just generic automotive exhaust clamps, been used successfully for years, I think I even have some in my toolbox from my old vfr, like previously said just twist em a bit to hide em better, why reinvent the wheel when there's a perfectly good easily available solution.
I was looking at the picture trying to find a dodgy clamp on the end cans, no wonder I couldn't find any.
