So what are your top 3 modifications on your SD Mine:

1. Power Commander (pulls stronger everywhere and snatchyness gone )
2. Akrapovic Slip-ons (never had OE exhaust on...but -9kg, better looks and sound...and at least a couple of horses)
3. Slipper clutch...maybe you don't need it but I like it a lot...also on the road

40 rear sprocket was very close to third...but in the end I'd rather keep the slipper clutch than the sprocket

ok, biggest thing is def exhaust. stocker makes wheelies easier, kinda like having a fat girlfriend on the back...
now once you touch the exhaust, you have to do air intake ('performance' filter/motobox), and fueling - PC/tuneboy, or dealer loaded AK map, so all this is really one mod, and #1 IMO

#2 for me, would be crash protectors. worth their weight in gold.

#3 - 1st/2nd gear retard elliminator mod - not a huge difference, but hey - it's free!

if you own pre-07, #3 would probably be sprockets

Suspension is VERY important, but I would argue that suspension setup is not really a mod... it's something you would adjust on every bike you get, and often change it depending on where you going (you would not use the same settings on bumpy back roads/highway/track) I see it kind of like brake/clutch/shifter leaver positions, or tyre pressure...

Naw, i just leave it on and ride round the jerkiness (although i rarely use it on the road anymore TBH!)

2. Petrol
3. Petrol

Thats all you need. Just get out and ride the fooker. Ive done shed loads to all my other bikes but havent really touched this one. Had two sets of exhausts on and theyve made next to no difference apart from noise and weight loss. As standard its more than enough for road riding.
