It was a very simple thing to do.
The Snorkle comes right out after removing the airbox cover, and front snorkle mount. If you want to take it a step further, remove the triangles on both sides of the lower airbox. This should let the bike inhale easier, and give it a cool growl.
I still have to do the 15 minute idle reset in the morning.
The canisterectomy was also simple to do.
FYI:
When I lifted the tank I noticed some gas that had leaked out from the fuel pump seal. It just ended up being that the screws needed tightening on it.
