... and they happened to be sitting right in my triple clamps.
I'd spent way too much time searching for a decent set of black bars for my Superduke R which had a bend similar to the stock handlebars. It only took about an hour to mask & paint the stock bars (add another hour for disassembly and re-assembly time -- which I'd have had to do with a third party set of bars as well). Found a nice satin black spray paint at the local CycleGear shop and am completely happy with the result. I masked the center area (what is clamped and what is between the clamps) and the bar ends, leaving these silver. No real reason why. I guess I liked the KTM logo and the adjuster marks. Plus the SD-R's unified bar clamp top piece seemed a little more defined by leaving the center of the bars silver.
