From '06 face mask to exc face mask

Was a bit bored today so changed over my massive 06 mask for a smaller exc, similar to the eztuning mod.

Looks a bit bonk at the minute cause the white mask stands out but aim is to have white tank shrouds and hopefully some decals made up (I emailed LR Designs last week about a 06 tank panel template but no reply yet...).

Just thought I'd post up for interest?

Right so here's some more pics. I went and raised the mask a bit and I think it looks a ton better. Sorry about the quality but iPhone camera sucks!

HELP: Can anyone tell me what size bit I need to take the rear foot pegs off, I have nothing in my toolbox that fits and want to drop by the DIY shop tomorrow.

Took a top view too, bare in mind it needs a facia. Everything is structurally sound it seems. Just need to protect it in case of rain!

Suddenly everyone has EXC headlights on their watch list now

I can't remember what the Torx is either... i'll shoot downstairs in a minute and see if i can find the bolts i removed to check.

Great look, how effective is the light at night?

The older 640 had just the speedo setup like that.

The stock light...probably not super effective but you can always upgrade it to a xenon? Tbh I have only ever ridden it at night in well lit areas!
