Good post!

Are you going to post the result of the secondary butterflies profile change mod? Reading back through the forum this has been a debate for a long time no? I didn't know that MH was working on this. Has the design already been tried and tested? Would a dyno run highlight and change or is it seat of the pants stuff? Looking forward to hearing.
Good help with the pics! Image

Just so everyone knows, the big green thing labelled "my little friend" is not a drill press; it is a vertical milling machine. I didn't drill the holes into the bracket; it elongated them using a side cutting end mill, not a drill bit. I don't think a drill press will work for this; the next best tool is going to be a dremel tool or die grinder with an appropriate sized grinding stone. Don't want anyone fecking up their brackets using the wrong tool.
For Cat and the others who can't see the Photobucket pictures, I spliced them together into video format and posted it on YouTube at .

Lifted tank up yesterday and come across this problem,i just got my trusty t bar out and held the allen key bolt at a angel and pushed down in to the threaded hole and pulled back and it threaded right up..???? why dont you just trim thr rubber gromet the metal bush and bolts goes through so it sits a few millimeters further back towards the tank thats the easiest way for the hole to line up..??????

I did it. It definitely helped, and I'm glad I did it, but I still had to pry the tank back to get the bolt to start. POS.
Just put in the motobox, sas block offs and power commander. Ran across this and modified the brackets at work AND I STILL CANT GET THE THING TO LINE UP!!!!! Juses! Anything else to try? i tried the ratchet strap deal, pushing and pulling and a little prying on the back of the brackets. PLEASE give me some ideas. Id love to take it for a little drive after the mods but this damn tank
