from what ive read you are correct joe the stock gel seat is no more comfy than the standard seat it is lower and has to be more dense to do the same job (I simply added a layer of gel under foam it absorbs a bit more shock from bumps on road )bumps that used to jar my back are easily manageable now because there is dense gel layer and standard foam layer 1 1/2 the shock absorbtion

wrebitup, I want a SDR tail kit with a passion, thare is one in ND, they want full msrp for it $700+, discontinued to be sold by the ktm,
I had one ordered for under $550 with the discount (ordered in sept 07, gave up after 7 mo's of being told 3 more weeks!) , so I call my local dealer last week,
told um I wanted to buy the kit, asked when and how much, tell them I want the thing, called me back told me $525, i replied with.... the word is they are discontinued...
he says,, I'll call you right back... he does and says we can no longer get this but we can get it piece by piece, WTF !!!! ktm does not want my money????
