LED Strip for indicators

In the middle of doing an "I am skint" tail tidy up on my 2006 SD. Has anyone put led strips on to the tail end/light of bike to act as indicators/turn signals as my plate going straight to back of bike and will be left with nowhere for them???

If so any pics/info of what/how ya did it or links to threads on here please

I did on my old 06. I bought them from the US quite a long time ago but will see if I can find where. I might even still have a couple of strips.

That looks neat! Do they come in amber/orange as well or are these less visible?

They are orange, it's just the iPhone camera that makes them look red

I've managed to find 2 strips. I'll test them to make sure they still work.
