Passenger footpegs

I'd like to remove my passenger footpegs. The bracket provides support to the rear cowling panel.

I know some of you remove the bracket anyway but I'd like some support there. Short of cutting the exposed part off the bracket are there any products that will let me do this?

They do tecnically support the rear side panels but I and many other have removed them with out any problems.

You dont really put any weight on the panels as a rider in the riding position.
